Kyle Walden Joins Meristem Team

Experienced Agronomy Manager To Serve Growers and Develop Dealers in North Dakota

Columbus, Oh., June 15, 2023 – Experienced crop input specialist Kyle Walden has joined Meristem Crop Performance® Group, LLC, one of the fastest-growing crop input suppliers in America. Walden becomes Meristem’s sales rep and dealer coach in North Dakota.

“Kyle Walden is a service-oriented expert at helping farmers get solid crop production results,” says Mitch Eviston, Meristem Founder and CEO, in announcing the hire. “Kyle knows his stuff and has a passion for serving farmers. We are excited to gain the value of his experience as we continue to grow our Meristem business in The Dakotas and surrounding states.”

Walden most recently served as agronomy manager at Premier Ag Products in Rogers, North Dakota, where he integrated seed, fertility products, crop protection and other inputs to get the “best results possible for each farmer we served,” he explains. “I’ve had quite a bit of experience at field level, and that really helps me see things from the farmer’s perspective, I think.”

Indeed, Walden lists his first experience simply as “farm hand,” for Frey, Inc. in Jamestown, N.D., where he spent three years operating planting, tillage and harvest equipment. He then accepted an ag sales position with ADM in the town of Rogers before going on to Premier. Walden, his wife Brooke, daughter Blake and son Knox, now live in nearby Leal, N.D. He says his new position with Meristem provides a means to carry out a key life mission for him: helping growers succeed.

“Every farmer is different and every season is different,” he says. “I really love the challenge of helping crop producers figure out how to increase yield at a better ROI (return on investment). Meristem’s portfolio of products is designed to help farmers do that with every pass they make through the field all season long.”

Walden says Meristem’s innovation with biologicals – such as REVLINE® HOPPER THROTTLE® – caught his attention. “The BIO-CAPSULE Technology™ just makes sense,” he says. “Keeping the microbes separate from the talc/graphite and the zinc keeps them alive and well all the way to the ground where they can go to work building better roots.”

“Meristem’s people and products are oriented toward boosting ROI for farmers and that fits perfectly with my personal mission of farmers and family out here,” says Walden. “I’m really excited to get started.”
